Men in Black spin-off movie will hit in 2019, and it’s said to expand the world of MiB in the same way that Jurassic World expanded that franchise.

Before you ask, no, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones aren’t expected to reprise their roles. Wouldn’t be surprised to see an unaccredited cameo or two, though.

Men in Black Spin-off UPCOMING MOVIE(2018)

Men In Black, the smash hit sci-fi franchise starting Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, is getting the reboot treatment.

The combination of Smith and Jones’ chemistry, the comedy script, and the alien horror all combined to deliver a fun, quirky movie which audiences loved.

Its sequel, Men In Black II, didn’t fare quite as well, and franchise fatigue had well and truly set in by the time Men In Black III arrived in 2012.

. Here’s every update you need.

  • Cast: Tessa Thompson, Chris Hemsworth, Liam Neeson, Rebecca Ferguson, Emma Thompson, Rafe Spall, Kumail Nanjiani

The Men in Black Spin-off UPCOMING MOVIE(2018)

The upcoming film will be the fourth Men in Black movie to date, with the previous three films starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.

It’s been six years since Men in Black 3 came out, and the fourth film’s production is finally picking up serious steam.

After the release of the third film, Smith was unsure about Men in Black 4, and thought that three movies was enough for him.

thanks to the Sony hack that leaked a lot of their upcoming plans.

but Sony eventually gave up on the idea, and moved forward with an MIB franchise spinoff.

With the film now in production, a new set photo of Thompson and Hemsworth has surfaced online.

The film became an instant box office hit and spawned not one, but two other films.

The first two films together — the second launched in 2002 — made more than $1.03 billion at the worldwide box office.

It’s no wonder that executives are going back to the well in hopes of hitting gold again.

Sony has moved its summer 2019 tentpole Men In Black Untitled from May 17 to June 14,

taking it off the date currently occupied by John Wick: Chapter Three and moving it to the date where Warner Bros has its Shaft remake.

This kind of date jockeying is not unusual a year in advance.
